Absence of a status
If a private corporation is not listed with DEPAT, the general public can assume the corporation has no plans, leadership, or management to launch an IPO.
If a private corporation was listed with DEPAT and is no longer listed, it may be for reasons unrelated to the IPO launch potential of the company.
Should a private corporation be listed by DEPAT but have no status assigned, the reason may be one of the following:
A change from a status rating to a "no status" rating may occur if new and material circumstances arise, the effects of which preclude satisfactory analysis; if there is no longer available reasonable up-to-date data to permit a judgment to be formed, or for other reasons.
If you are a corporation who is considering, preparing, or actively seeking an IPO launch in the USA or another nation (or world entity), apply for a pre-IPO status rating (free) here.

Should a private corporation be listed by DEPAT but have no status assigned, the reason may be one of the following:
- An application by the corporation to enable DEPAT to issue, assign, and/or re-assign pre-IPO stock was not yet accepted by DEPAT.
- The corporation belongs to a group of securities or entities (i.e., is a subsidiary) that are not status rated as a matter of policy.
- There is a lack of essential data pertaining to the corporation.
